When exploring the *narrow alleyways leading off Mochiidono shopping arcade with their period shops and houses you feel like you've travelled back in time. In one of these relaxing spaces you'll find Jyu Jyu. It's our philosophy not to use meat in our dishes. We select choice ingredients, the quality of which we use to their full potential. Sample our menu with your favorite drink, beer, or organic wine. Jyu Jyu attracts customers of all ages because of the safe, relaxed feel. It's ok to come alone, even for women.

*Narrow alleyways:
In the mid-Edo period, these "hanamachi" were filled with restaurant Geisha houses. At that time there were about 200 Geishas residing there. The street where Jyu Jyu is now was called "Shinomuro No Zushi". The street still retains some of the atmosphere of those golden days.
